Snails, Anyone?

There are two things that i've been wanting to do since early this year:
A. Indulge in seafood at Kuala Selangor (cos apparently, they're cheap there)
B. See fireflies (cos i haven't seen em)

(B) was fulfilled during a walk at Desa Park City with Karen and Joyce where we randomly stumbled upon a couple of em and (A) became a reality a few weeks back when my uncle was feeling super generous and decided to treat us to lunch at Kuala Selangor. Tell me lah, every weekend also got awesome food, how to lose weight like that? Well i say, screw the weight and in the wise words of Karen, we should just "celebrate life".
Before heading off to Kuala Selangor, we made a stop at Pantai Remis where fishermen and cockle-hunters go to. While the beach is not the perfect place to go to for a dip but it is beautiful nonetheless and attracts picnic-ers. And there's heaps of tiny shellfish to look at!

Then came time for lunch. I've never eaten so much seafood in one sitting! Out of the crabs, squid, prawns, fish, cockles, oysters and shellfish we've eaten, this is the only picture i managed to take. Because when the second plate of food came, the only thought in my mind was 'Eat'.

Throughout the day, my uncles and aunts talked about a hill that we were going to visit. Apparently, you could either hike to the top or catch a tram. But as far as i know, there is nothing like that in KL. Guess i don't know that much because there is a place like that. And it comes with heaps of monkeys and a fantastic view of the town, trees and the sea. You can actually see the freaking sea!

Who would have thought that in the middle of some forsaken town lies a breezy beach, an awesome seafood place and a park filled with monkeys to feed? He truly does create wonders in a way that nobody can understand.
