Birthday babies: Uncle Pat, Andrew, Nick, Eda and Uncle David. Little Kimberly so mengada standing there like it's her birthday!
Catch-up sessions with my cousins are always welcomed. It's a pity that cousins on my mom's side no longer hang out as much as we used to. It has got nothing to do with the language difference because i can still bitch in Cantonese. Maybe it's just our different wavelengths. I think my topics of conversation can actually send a few of them into shock.
Anyhoo, while the grown-ups (during family gatherings, i still sit at the children's table) sip wine and do whatever adults do, we settled ourselves on a cosy bed and launched into some super awesome girl talk (boys were busy playing computer games) involving hot boys, Justin Timberlake and his Beyonce dance and everything else in between.
Those of us who are still a part of the 'children's table'. Too bad Esaline and Michelle couldn't make it for the celebration or else, this picture would have been awesome-er! It was supposed to be a smiley picture but the camera bug got the better of us and we soon launched into The La-La, The Thinker and The Silly Face. I heart!
